Hi, Looking to move over to AGL internet. Currently with telstra and have their telstra smart modem. Is this modem usable for AGL internet or would I need to get a different one?

I moved into my new place yesterday, which was supposed to be the first day of my NBN connection with AGL (FTTB). Despite being an AGL customer for many years and paying by direct debit ,including gas account for around $1000 per month, my application for internet service was refused due a bad payment history.
