Questions and discussion about solar, batteries, and electrification
We’re excited to launch our new Battery Rewards Plan— an energy plan designed for customers with home batteries in NSW, QLD and SA who want to make the most of their stored energy.
By choosing to export energy back to the grid during peak times, eligible customers can earn up to $600 in Digital Visa Gift Cards.^ It’s our way of rewarding smart energy choices that support a more sustainable grid.

Down the bottom in the things you should know compatible batteries and inverters.
Yes the above link is for VPP, but just t ocheck about the usual compatibility of the Sungrow inverters / batteries.
There are even less strigent requirements that come up when you bring up the Battery Rewards page . . .

In the elegibility criteria "Have a solar battery of any brand installed at the supply address"
Have you spoken to anyone at AGL, beyond the support front line ?
They can sometimes be limited in their knowlege base.
Maybe a tech dept type can assist more.
Hi @StevenG
Great to have you on board battery Rewards and the VPP, and thanks so much for your question! At the moment, the AGL app doesn’t show your Battery Rewards Plan export details (how many kWh were sent back to the grid between 5–9pm). We calculate all exports as part of your billing cycle, and at the end of each quarter you’ll receive a separate email with your total 5-9pm exported energy and your Battery Rewards gift card for the period.
