Enhancing the AGL Rewards Program

Hi everyone,

I've been a long-time customer of AGL and recently started exploring the AGL Rewards program. While I appreciate the effort to provide additional value to customers, I'm curious to hear others' thoughts on the program. Do you find the rewards offered through the program valuable, or would you prefer more direct benefits like bill reductions? I'm particularly interested in understanding how the rewards program has impacted your overall experience with AGL. Have you found any rewards that stand out or have significantly enhanced your experience?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Best regards,
Lisa

Bill Rewards would be a great addition to the rewards currently on offer

I've made use of the discounted supermarket vouchers quite a lot over the years. The discount offered has varied during that time, but if it's more than 3%, and I buy around the same $ amount as my monthly bill, I feel the effort is worth it and the $'s in my pocket can be spent on frivolous (fancy beers) purchases, guilt free.

Hi,

Yes, these rewards are definitely worth using, and we’re thrilled to hear that our loyal customers are benefiting from the rewards program! It’s great to know that it’s making a positive impact.

Additionally, we’ve introduced a new reward for BP fuel discounts. Be sure to check it out, and take advantage of the extra savings!

Thanks again,
SYED

Why are we getting these mysterious spambot like posts on the forum ?

They actually look legit, but have a spam link within them, usually near the bottom.

The usernames always seem auto generated, name, numbers etc, but they are obviously tailored to the forum.

Do the AGL employees here not see this ?

This is either very advanced AI, or has some human input.

I'm guessing AI as it is getting very advanced now.

Ahoy, Lester.

I replied to this thread, and then noticed the link at the end of OP's (real human - who knows?!) message. Quite puzzling and hard to see what the motive is. I will send a note to the team and flag this - thanks for highlighting.

Cheers Brammers,

Yes, and the links are really odd, a home depot survey ?? Strange.

There are many of these through the forum, some quite old, sometimes these AI bots or whatever dredge up really old posts and make some sort of odd reply in support or advice, with a link in the message.

Anyway, maybe mods can work out where these come from and somehow work out a block.

Hey @Lester, we have noticed the increase in bots posting and unfortunately its really hard to stop them all. Our team does their best to remove as many as possible, but as you can imagine some slip through.

We recommend that no one clicks on any links on Neighbourhood unless its from an AGL employee or a trusted user, like yourself.

Sure Basil, I'll keep reporting them as they appear, not 100% sure they all get acted on, but will continue to try and keep the forum clear of these sorts of posts as I find them.
