I requested a refund and was told it was processed at 09.04.2024 and eta would be 19.04.2024. It's my mum bday today and really needed the funds so what's the actual day will it go into my account. Has anyone ever had a refund to their bank account and how long from the day it was processed did it take before it went into the bank account
Hi there - the company is scamming people and telling them they are going to refund them then end up taking money from their accounts - its happened to me and they took $500 out two weeks ago and i haven't had an account with AGL for 10 years. please be diligent. I will be reporting to NSW Energy Ombudsman.

How did you go with the refund. Did you get it?
I've recently changed Internet providers and had some credit left on my Internet account. Spoke to a rep via chat who took my Savings account details and advised the refund will be made in 14 days. No transaction reference number, no email confirming the request for the refund and said the bank would message me once the transfer was complete.
Sounded completely suss. Might go take a look at their policy documentation regarding this but thought to stop by this forum to see how others faired with refund requests.
