Hi, I've got a text message from AGL yesterday as below;
"Confirming a refund of $223.59 was successfully processed for electricity account ending in [private information removed]"
Actually, I didn't request any credit refund, and the credit balance on my accout is reduced less than my calculation.
Please let me know why you sent me a refund message & where my credit has gone?
Remove your personal info Joe, the account number.
Be aware this sort of message can possibly be a scam, it's quite common if some form of identity theft has happened, stolen bill, old bill from rubbish bin, etc.
Likely with the app balance change it isn't, so finding out about the discrepancy should be easy enough for AGL to explain.
