The web account and app display errors.

Hello, my latest quarterly gas bill has just been released, but whether I access my account through a browser or the mobile app, the bill period shown for this new bill is actually from the previous quarter. This is causing me a lot of confusion. I hope this issue can be fixed so that the information I see in my account is accurate and not misleading. (This isn't the first time this has happened; the same issue occurred last quarter as well.)

Unless you have a smart gas meter, it is not possible to get actual data on a meter that has not been read yet.

Therefore you get shown the latest data that is available (ie your last bill) and that is only based on your average daily usage, the same as for analogue electricity meters and water meters.

 

In calculating the UNITS on your bill there are a few calculations that are needed to convert the CUBIC METER usage into the UNITS on your bill.

 

I believe there is a heating factor and a pressure factor that is also used.
