Hi @Lester

Yes, there is an option to change tariff, we do recommend that people contact us directly as different tariffs might not be available in distribution areas.

For users finding this thread, they can check out our Electricity Tariff page to see what types are available and figure out what will be best for them before making the switch.

Thanks, Chris

Got the old meter removed, have been tracking usage since our Aldi solar system and battery were installed in Feb so we just received a estimated bill same as previous for $1200 when grid consumption has dropped by 80%.
that is called fraud.

Hi @BeWin

If your meter was changed, the important thing would be to identify where the estimate is coming from.  Either the end read of the previous meter, or assuming you have got a smart meter as you mention you have solar, a connection dropout when we were receiving the interval data and instead getting an estimate from your distributor or meter data provider.

I'm going to send you a Private Message so I can look further into this for you.

Thank you, Chris

some one on this site said that if your electricity is far too high then it could be that there is grow house near you

who has tapped into your meter. Grow house presumably means some one growing seed meaning marijuana .

I notice there is a high house near by who has an outside light on all day 24 7 . It is a small light that stays

perpetually open 24 hours seven days a week. Could some one have tapped into my meter. and how can AGL

check this ?

please advise.
