Hi Pointa,

As long as you meet the eligibility criteria the Federal Government Rebate will apply automatically to your account quarterly in the 2023 - 2024 financial year.

I pay the electricity bill monthly. Which months can I expect to see the federal rebate applied.

Hi @penelopem,

Thank you for reaching out,

The credits will be applied quarterly regardless of billing frequency - if you are in NSW, VIC or QLD, the first credit will be added to your account by the end of August, which will apply to the next bill issued.

Kind regards,
Xander

The first instalment of the Energy Bill Relief was applied by the end of August.

I'll send you a private message, so we can check if the rebate has been applied to your account.
