WOW, well done AGL, Whats Next ????

I am really annoyed with AGL at the moment.

Last month they put up my Electricity prices, This month they inform me that THEY are now moving me to Monthly Billing. What will they do next month ???

What annoys me is the fact that I get no option at all. Price rises- ok, fair enough, i get that prices go up, but to then turn around 1 month later and tell me that i will now get a bill every month is unbelievable.

So, here's some things that i have lost with AGL over the years;

  • Solar Feed In Tariffs, from 60c per KW down to 6c
  • 17% On Time payment discount.
  • Plan Changes at their discretion.
  • Price rises.
  • Now, monthly billing (changed from quarterly billing, with no options)

I have been a happy customer for many years, and my account is always in credit, but this is the last straw.

You will not dictate to me how i will pay my bill.

My power bill is, and should be, my choice on how it gets paid.

AGL, its ok, I am now looking at other suppliers.

Les, 

We got one for the 17th June, 1730 to 1830, get $5 credit if we imported less than .28kWh.

According to my download data we imported .116kWh during the period. But, AGL is still making us wait for the result.

In fact we only imported .273kWh from 1630 till 1900 on the 17th June.

That's a low threshold Neil, obviously based of your normal usage for the hour concerned.

Our first offer was for less that 0.8kwh for that same day and time, and at the 4:30pm or so reminder time we were drawing 0.72kwh or so . . . but dinner prep was started soon after so didn't worry about trying to achieve that.

How often are you getting these through a month ?
