Call the AGL number (131 245) and ask to speak to the resolutions department. Don’t be fobbed off by the customer service rep.And seriously don’t even bother with the virtual assistant. They can only solve VERY basic queries.

Customer service

I once again had to contact AGL as I noted that myaccount (on the website) no longer existed. Apparently ‘the system’ will reset in approx 5 working days. (Or maybe more??) Whilst I remain mildly frustrated, I did have a very clarifying and sensible conversation with Mel from the resolutions department.I accidentally ended my call before giving feedback. Sorry Mel !! You understood my concerns and put my mind at ease….(for now!!)Thanks again. 

Changing plans

I thought changing plans using myaccount on the website would be simple. I couldn’t be more wrong.I had been automatically changed to the ‘core plan’ (which is ridiculously expensive) on 13/11…. So I immediately changed to the ‘value saver’ plan …. My electricity plan was changed successfully. However today I received an email stating that I was moving home!! and that my gas meter would have a final read on 18/11 and gas disconnected. Complete rubbish, I did not request this.
