can an optus modem/router be used for internet and home phone

Your Optus router can be used for the internet, but we would be unable to add a home phone service to it, you would have to get one of our routers .Glenn
We don't have home phones only Internet.
Do we need to do anything to modem or just swap to agl
Another question does netflix come with package
