Hiya,

could someone please tell me what a flashing R means on Mk10D meter? I have a Fronious system with 20 panels which had been running fault free for over 5 years.

Backstory.  I just received a bill indicating that I have exported next to zero electricity over summer.,

I've been away for work most of the summer and was told everything was ok when called AGL in February from out of town because I could not see solar export on app.

many thanks

@Jaffas124 not sure if this will help, it could be a start.

A google of > what does flashing R mean on Mk10D meter < came up with this UK doc on the Mk10d.

https://www.camax.co.uk/downloads/EDMI-Atlas-Hardware-Reference-Manual-Revision-M.pdf

Section 8-5 . . .

"R shows remote communication or login on the modem port.
The R will flash if the meter is connected to the GPRS
network in persistent mode but no one is logged in. "

Another UK doc link comes up with this. . .

https://www.energyassets.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/EA_RMM_EDMI-MK10.pdf  . . .

which advises the R apparently stands for remote comms in use.

@Jaffas124 no problems, hopefully that can help tie down the issue.

Good luck.

@Jaffas124

Have you checked to see if your system is active.

I believe that the fronious have a web interface, have you checked that.

I have a friend who had one of those and when I checked it I found that it had not generated any power for over a month, can only presume that there was a brown out (that's where the power drops in voltage but does not go out) and locked the unit in a semi shut down state.

Restarting the inverter worked and power was again produced.

Cheers Neil
