Net Metering

How do I tell if my home is gross-metered or net-metered? I have a three phase grid connection and a three phase car charger with a single phase inverter on my solar system. Am I selling excess energy on the solar phase to the grid at FIT rates and buying it back on the other two phases at import rates when I charge the car? Thanks

..

@BenJ pretty sure it would have to be netted out at the meter.

I recall a solarquotes article from some time ago, and found it here . . .

And confirmed a similar Aussie blog article with a quick google . . .

Hi Benj, Most households do in fact have Net metering for solar. I will send you a private message shortly to discuss further. Cheers, Deepesh
