There are 3 new houses on the 1 block and i am the first to move in, on Tuesday 27th. I requested that they ring me prior to arriving. I was advised between 1 to 3 days. I took 3 days off just in case and here we are at the end of the week and no metre install. I have just found out that they installed it at the wrong house.
I am a new customer and can't believe this service. Now the call centre said I have to wait up to 5 business days! No hot water for 3 days after I move in. I still need to have the gas plumber come after the install to do there bit.

Also, if a meter was recently installed at your property, the installer should have provided instructions, including a prompt to contact your gas distributor’s customer service team to have the gas supply officially turned on and flowing into your home.
