Bill estimated post smart meter install

Just wondering why I recieved an estimated bill? We had a smart meter installed on 18th Nov following Solar install on 26th Oct. 7 weeks of solar this quarter and we have a significantly higher bill than same time last year even with some solar credits. Should the meter not have been read when the new meter was installed? How can I get this reviewed as this bill is excessive!

Hi @sarah_brine, that does sound odd. The old meter should've been read when it was replaced, and that reading should show up on your bill if it was during the billing period. Best thing to do would be to reach out to us here so that we can take a look at the bill for you. Thanks- Mark.
