How do I find out where the nearest 3 phase availability is for my property? How do I identify if it is in my street?.

I know nothing about this subject but need 3 phase to run a lathe and hoist.

Look at where your power into the house comes in.

If the connection leads to a pole with three parallel lines then you have three phase available.

(If  you have a SWER , Single Line Earth Return, then 3 phase is not available).

You will need to involve an electrician to get a quote for the new wiring, switchboard etc.
