Internet bills are arriving not at all or way past due date! Yes we know that AustPost is slow but not for metro post in the same city!

The image below shows my last internet account which does not show any data usage or other options... But what it does show is a paper account issued 7 days ago with an arrival post date of 1 day after the Due Date!

The over due date carries a $10 penalty so who pays? I paid by credit card 1 day before the due date without any bill!

Please post the set-amount bill so it arrives on the 1st day of the payment account period, not 1 day too late!

Hi @VKBob

We do send our invoices out 2 weeks before the due date so I'm also confused as to why these would not reach you in time.  I do apologise that by the time you are getting them that there's already the pressure of making payment right away.

We do recommend switching to email or digital billing as we can't control any delays with postage. You can do this by following these steps

  1. Log in to My Account

  2. Select your name in the top right corner then Account settings

  3. Under Billings and payments scroll down to Bill notifications

  4. Select Edit and switch your billing type

Thank you, Chris

@VKBob

You have the internet... Why pay $1.70 to have your bill sent by post...

Next you will be saying you don't trust the internet....

Cheers Neil
