2024/2025 QLD Electricity Rebate

Can AGL advise if the QLD and Federal electricity rebates are to be retained by AGL or as the consumer (with the eligible credit yet to be used or applied on their account) be allowed to claim a refund on their credit balance account?

One service member provided the option to have it refunded, another two have flat refused after I came back to follow up on this first offer provided to me.

Hi wxhe71,

AGL is applying rebates to eligible customers on behalf of the state governments to assist with their electricity costs throughout this financial year.

Customers are not eligible for a refund unless they are a solar customer; AND are in credit; AND are likely to remain in credit (i.e. historically generate more solar than used).
