Questions and discussion about AGL's Energy plans and your AGL Energy account
Good afternoon
I have recently been changed to a monthly billing cycle.
On my Quarterly bill, I was receiving $54.53 Winter Concession, now on my monthly bill, I have received
$15.98 as my winter concession.
If I do a sum of this - $15.98 X by 3 = $47.94
So, this is $6.59 less per qtr thank what I have been receiving.
I think these needs to be adjusted
Thank you in anticipation
Rhonda

Thank you for getting in touch.
I completely understand your concern, and I’d like to help clarify what may be happening with your account.
There are two key factors to consider in this situation. Firstly, your billing frequency has changed from quarterly to monthly. This shift can sometimes make your bills appear different than what you're used to, even if your overall energy usage hasn’t changed significantly.
Secondly, we’re at the beginning of the winter season, which typically brings higher energy use as heating becomes more frequent. Our billing team may have applied a concession or adjustment to help ease this seasonal transition, especially if it’s a standard support measure during the colder months.
If anything still seems unclear, or if you'd like a detailed breakdown of your charges, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our dedicated team on https://www.agl.com.au/help-support/contact-us
We're more than happy to walk you through it.
Rhonda, I THINK your concession is fixed, but this may have been adjusted pro rata if the end of quarterly billing cycle was adjusted to a new monthly billing cycle timing.
You know you might be able to stay on quarterly billing if you prefer that ?
You didn't post if you changed to this billing frequency yourself, to better spread payments through a year, or if was a move AGL made on your account.
