On Monday 20 Jan 2025, AGL invited me to participate in the Peak Event starting 6:30pm which I had registered. There was no target mentioned or included in the invitation (see screenshot below).

However email issued from AGL on 10/2/25, said that “your actual usage exceeded your reduction target for this event, so you didn’t earn a bill credit.” My complaint is how did I exceed the target when no target was set in the first place. I believe in principle AGL should provide bill credit as I did register for the event.Screenshot_Messages.jpg

Hey @BKLsorry to hear you have had that experience recently.

Due to a system error, some customers did not receive the target text message in the events that they replied to.

So, if you could reach out to peakenergyrewards@agl.com.au, in the email please include the screenshot you have attached, your name, DOB & account number and then the team will investigate and apply the appropriate credit to your account.

Thanks heaps,

Basil
