Hi Ngauci!
Welcome to the AGL Community!
You can find out more information about the Usage page by visiting the following AGL Community link: How is my projected energy bill calculated?

Ngauci,
In regard to your question.
"Also is my account under an estimated electricity reading or is my meter read?"
On your actual Bill you will see your meter read type listed under:
Your electricity supply details.
Meter No | Read Type | Start Reference | End Reference | kWh |
X1234567 | Actual | 9,350 | 10,542 | 1,191.204 |
Hope this helps .
Neil
You don't answer the question at all, rather provide a link to an extensive menu which I wasted time on. You guys at AGL are too good at nut answering directly, please. Just answer the questions we ask instead of sending us to fish through a long list of menu links which don't even lead to a resolution.
Who does not answer the question.
You are referring to a post that is over 4 years old.
All the answers supplied are directed towards Ngauci.
The projected amount on the app or the web interface only shows the amounts of power you use and any power that you may generate.
It does not also include your supply costs and any other individual discounts that you may have.
..
Things certainly could have changed in nearly 5 years.
Most likely the OP found his answer when he received his bill.
I just wanted to add, the app features and way things display may have changed too in that time.
My Overview window shows power usage to date (smart meter) AND the daily supply charge, and gst.
Add the usage net $97.58 to my 40 days so far @ $1.02 daily $40.80, and that comes to $138.38, near enough to the overview amount all up including gst.
As far as I have seen, overview does not show various credits (apart from solar FIT credits).
Eg. recent govco rebates usually show up on the bill, but not the overview amount.
Some special credits may show up in billing info, account balance transaction window.
It can make it hard not having everything clearly showing for those wanting to / needing to budget closely.
