The app overcharged my card for my energy bill so I went to the chat option which usually works, but now messages won’t send -  ‘failed to send’

Hey @oliveoil - thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about your experience!

Could you please share a screenshot of the chat, so I can get our developers to look into it for you.

In the meantime and to correct the overcharge you have mentioned, I suggest you chat through our website here. That way a team member can sort that out for you as soon as possible.

Cheers, Basil

Thankyou for sending that through, I'll send you a direct message (as this is a public forum) now to get some personal details about your account.

Hello!

It's incredibly frustrating to be overcharged and then find your app's chat feature failing. Immediately, try alternative contact methods like calling their customer service phone number or emailing support, as these are often quicker for billing issues. Remember to screenshot the overcharge and the "failed to send" message as evidence, and consider basic app troubleshooting like clearing the cache or reinstalling if the chat remains unresponsive.

In the early days of chatbots I made the mistake of asking for a supervisor - and got another bot!  Now the only question I ever ask a 'bot' is to connect me with a human. It works every time!
