I read some where ! That they work the daly exports under the limit and above the limit by adding each daily export and dividing the sum by the number of days , thus working out a daily average , and then applying the limit and the excess and then multiplying the result by the number of days in that month.

It buggers belief that after recording all the energy usage for every 30 minute interval they pick the highest in one day to calculate Demand charges for the month. Surely if the have collected all they could calculate the peak demand for each day and use that for the charge .as it stands if a peak is incurred on one day it is pointless being frugal for the rest of the month , which contradicts the supposed reason for the charge.Yes I am from Queensland and after the smart meter was installed th ...
