Qantas are also bringing back their call centres to Australia. Companies are starting to see that overseas call centres take more than 4 times to answer your question, and that's if they don't have to go and ask a supervisor. They also know how it irritates clients that, english not being their first language and communicating over the phone, is not really working. Some Telstra calls would take days to resolve the problem because of communication problems.

Hi Caban, the usage in standby mode of a split system , does depend on the age of the system, and the technology it uses. Regards

Meter reading.

We are an elderly couple, and just received a text from AGL to read our own meter. We haven’t seen anyone reading out meter for years. We would always see him when he visited. Are you saying all of our readings have been guesses? Who is supposed to read the meter other than us?(I never learnt to read a gas meter, although my mother was the first female gas meter reader for the AGL).
