Keep up-to-date with the latest news and features relating to your AGL online account and digital services.
As part of our ongoing mission to remain at the forefront of solar energy in Australia, this release sees the unveiling of a revamped usage interface for solar users to glean a new level of insight from.
Using the app, you can now see your energy sold to grid, energy bought from grid, net position and more at a glance. You can also choose hourly, weekly or monthly breakdowns.
The interface design makes it easy to gain immediate insights into your solar usage such as seasonal differences, highest selling days and highest buying days – and the ability to view figures by the hour enables you to test appliances and settings to ensure you’re making the best use of your solar panels every day.
It’s always exciting for us to release new features and tools after working so hard on them. We hope you find these new solar developments valuable and insightful.

Half-hourly breakdowns
For that extra level of granularity, we’re working on breaking down your figures by every half hour. This level of detail will make it even easier to understand your usage.
Quicker access to overview data for basic meter solar customers
Currently, solar users with basic meters can’t see their feed-in tariff until their bill arrives. Even then, it can be a bit tricky to locate. In future versions of the app, the feed-in tariff amount will be clearly visible alongside usage and bill data, leading to a more intuitive and smoother experience.
We spend a lot of time thinking of ways to make your life easier, and we’ve always got ideas. But to make sure we’re giving you exactly what you want, we want to hear from you! If you’d like to make a suggestion, you can do so by visiting our app feedback page.
Stay tuned to keep track of all the updates and developments we’ll be churning out for you throughout 2019.
Thanks for the positive feedback, @Cheyennejade01 . Glad it was useful. There's more improvements coming in the near future.
