Show contract expiry dates online and in the AGL app

As we all know, if you let your contract lapse, you often end up paying much higher prices.

However there is no way of viewing your contract expiry date on the website or in the app.

The only way to find your contract expiry date is either -

1) find the original welcome pack (which may be outdated/incorrect, due to subsequent contract changes, extensions etc.)

2) call and speak to someone at AGL

Please add this information online and in the app to save everyone time and money, including the AGL call centre staff.

Great Idea, the website has good info on plan - that it last 12 months, but no start or expiry date. When using Energymadeeasy site, this info can help with decision making as holding you costs for 12 months is a great option, ie my prices are "VM" = variable market - they are still locked for that 12 month period (thx).

I also note suggestion is from 2019

My home and workshop bills have the plan and expiry date on them, top of page 2 under "Summary of your energy plan".

There are also 2 notations . . .

1. This information relates to your current plan as at the date your bill was issued
on 18 Oct 2024.
2. We may contact you before the end of your energy plan period to notify you of
your new energy plan, which may include new rates, benefits or terms. If we
don't contact you, your current energy plan will continue to apply for a further
energy plan period.

It's expiring Dec 22nd for the home account, so we'll see if they do email me about it, if they don't, it should stay instated according to the above.

When my current plan started, it was for 12 months so just put that in my computer, outlook calendar for a week before expiry, so I could follow up if I don't hear anything from AGL.
