Connecting to NBN

I am due to connect with AGL NBN on 29 January, supplying my own modem. However, I have had no contact from AGL about how this will happen. Will someone come and establish the connection? Or will it be automatic as I'm already connected with a previous provider?

If youve already had the NBN at your house with a different ISP, no one will need to come out. You'll get connected on that date, and your internet will be up and running as long as your modem is set up right. https://www.agl.com.au/help-support/internet-mobile/get-set-up/set-up-your-own-device
