net meters

I would like to make an inquiry in to the instillation of a net meter.  Also AGL have just recently installed now metering to my house - Removing old , original meters. Does the new metering have the net meter attached?

Can I please confirm if your meter was upgraded after a solar system was installed at your property?

Hi Jayden, the solar has not yet been installed. I have been told that AGL supply the net meter's. I am trying to find out if this is supplied free or is charged for. 

My electrical meters were upgraded a couple of months ago from the old original type to what ever you install now.

Hi Stephen,

Thank you for clarifying this.

Your recent meter upgrade will be free of charge, however when this meter is reconfigured following the installation of your solar system a fee will be charged for this ranging from approximately $40 to $120 depending on if a technician needs to attend the property to complete this work or if it can be done remotely.
