Hot water gas meter is running fast

Hi,

My husband and I moved into a new apartment three weeks ago. I received my first gas bill which is $68 for only 21 days. And the usage is 1996MJ. That’s impossible. We also find that even after we went to sleep, the meter kept running and 130 liters was gone for 10 hours. Who should I ask for help?AGL or Jemena?

No such thing as a hot water gas meter.

Gas meters are rated on your gas usage.

If you have gas heating, gas stove etc this is usage.

I suppose by know you have realised this.
