Electric hws off peak controlled load

I want to turn off hws heating while I am on holidays. A friend will turn it back on a day before I return home. How do I do this with a smart meter?

Unfortunately, this is something that your retailer is unable to assist you with, however, an accredited electrician will be able to assist you further.

There are two options, if your HW service is outside, then there is probably an ISOLATION SWITCH next to it.

The second option is to open your meter board and find the circuit breaker marked "HW" or "HW SERVICE" and Isolate that.

Just remember to tell your friend where the switch is.
