Hi, I am wanting to switch out my smart meter back to an analogue meter. Please advise how I go about this.

Thanks,

Kellie

@simonb923 here in Australia there are no more analogue meters going in, and digital meters are apparently just read manually by download of data, if a remoteness / connectivity issue is present.

Here in Oz we are mandated by govco to have every electricity connection moved to digital smart meter by 2030.

I have looked at your posts and realise that you have no idea about what you are talking about.

The video you referred to is based on rubbish.

So you don't have a microwave, mobile phone, your car only has key locking, you don't listen to the radio, watch TV or use any remotes.

You don't use public transport, have a passbook that you obtain money from your bank, don't use the internet or own a computer.

Work in an office, where everyone hand writes everything and then spend hours and hours filing the said documents.

Your watch is an analogue one that you have to wind up every morning, your alarm clock is analogue and you wind that up in the morning when you do your watch.

Your Mum, Dad and the rest of the family all live in the same street, that way you can use semaphore to send them messages.

You walked here from Scotland as to avoid any contact with an electrical device.

You live off the grid, your wife spends the day making candles from bees wax and weaving the materials to make your hand made clothes, sewn together by hand using fish bone needles and intestine threads.

Good on ya

Cheers Neil
