AGL Digital Metering

Could you kindly advise me after this AGL complimentary installation of AGL  digital metering, if I change my energy provider, is this AGL digital metering compatible to any other energy provider, such as Origin Energy, Red Energy or other major energy provider ? If this is the standard digital metering to work for any other energy provider, I would be happy to take up the AGL offer to install the digital metering.

Digital Metering is support by all electricity companies,

In fact it makes it easier to switch companies as a meter reader is not required to read your meter before you switch.
