New FTTP connection, no IPv6 and Port Forwarding does not work - very disapointed

I thought I'd make use of the discount on FTTP NBN in our new house (we subdivided out block built new houses). 

So after years with Internode and having ask AGL pre-sales if IPv6 is support I find out in practice no IPv6.

Then I find the IP port forwarding does not work either.

What the heck?  I'm having to goto another ISP

Port forwarding is possible, but you'll need to get in touch with support and ask them to set you up with a public IP first.

Ok, thanks !  IPv6 is still needed... any idea if/when?

I've just checked in on this, and it looks like IPv6 won't be coming in the immediate future, unfortunately. It's something we'd like to add, but can't give a timeframe at this stage. Certainly not in the next 12 months, if that helps to clarify your decision.

Afternoon, regarding this, it is a setting that can be applied in the modem that you can change freely.

Yeah I can enable it in my modem router but it still doesn't work. I just tested at multiple IPv6 test site and websites and all failed. Is there a time frame for AGL to implement IPv6?
