Since joining AGL Telecom my internet, at best is super flakey and not anything like my previous supplier. I assumed that considering this is the NBN and supply is essentially from the same origin, device wouldn't be affected. Yet, as of this morning I have had no connection for the last 4 hours. I have in vain tried to contact your support however there has been no reply. This is appalling service.

On the NBN website it states that there are no outages in Victoria. Sounds like an AGL stuff up.

It's funny, when I checked the NBN outage, it said no outage detected.   **bleep** it...everyone here without connection but NBN said no outage detected??? What is wrong with NBN or AGL?

While I'm a new AGL Internet customer, I still have few remaining days from my previous ISP (due to 30 day cancellation notice period). Despite the "NBN Major Incident", I plugged my modem to another port of the NBN box (where my previous ISP used to work on), and Internet works perfectly fine there! So apparently that "incident" affects not all ISPs.

 

P.S. Guys, don't badmouth AGL by the way, otherwise moderators will ruthlessly wipe your messages. Learned the hard way.

I am a very loyal customer of AGL, I used all their services since 2020, including Gas, electricity and internet.   I just want the customer service to inform me what is the problem or at least I can read the issue on the website;   Unfortunately, I can only have the updated news in this neighbourhood forum.   Do you think it is funny?

Thought this might be the case. NBN site says my address is fine. 

 

My previous ISP shows my area is fine. 

 

In my 20 years with them it was only a handful of outages...

I'm happy for AGL to wipe my messages however this doesn't detract from how bad this situation is and the absence of information from AGL. There is obviously a major issue with AGL's service at the moment and their lack of information to the consumer is left wanting.
