Internet outage

Today I was on hold for over 30min as I wanted to find out why my internet was not working.

Only to get to someone saying it is a wider problem they are working on.
Can AGL send out a notification on twitter and Facebook advising their customers of the outage. this will save a lot of time for customers staying on hold and freeing up your helpdesk.

100% agree. Had (well still having) the same problem now. Just no communication on something quite important really. A lot of people now depend on the internet to do their work from home etc.

Thanks for the feedback - We have this outage page where you can access up to date information on outages http://agl.com.au/telcostatus, However I agree there needs to be better and more proactive communication about outages.

Is this still an issue? I have a wonderfully "fast" 1.67 mbs download at the moment.  Can barely load the chatbot app 😞

I did reboot my mode and now the download is less than 1mbs.

When will the internet problem be fixed. Still no internet here
