Today I was on hold for over 30min as I wanted to find out why my internet was not working.
Only to get to someone saying it is a wider problem they are working on.
Can AGL send out a notification on twitter and Facebook advising their customers of the outage. this will save a lot of time for customers staying on hold and freeing up your helpdesk.

Thanks for the feedback - We have this outage page where you can access up to date information on outages http://agl.com.au/telcostatus, However I agree there needs to be better and more proactive communication about outages.
