My internet is down for 3 days now. My biggest mistake was to switch to agl. Support hours are limited, staff is not empowered enough and there is no way to escalate. NBN website shows no outage and agl claims it is nbn fault. But they do not have a mechanism to escalate internally or externally. Staff says they do not know when the service can be brought back up. Issue is now 3 days old. Extremely dissatisfied and feustrated.

I am really sorry to hear that your internet hasn't been working for the past 3 days.
If you are in South Australia, I know we are having some authentication faults at the moment which can be impacting your service, again if you're in SA.
You can call us on 131245 and speak with our escalations team and we will be able to assist further and see why the internet isn't working for you.
