usage nd billing

When I look at my electricity account on AGL, the current amount owed doesn't agree with the amount on the usage page. Why not?

Your usage amount doesn't include daily supply charge (DSC).

Work out the number of days to date on the usage bars, multiply by your DSC, and add that to usage, should match the 'cost to date' amount.

My Usage page states:

Elect from Grid               Solar to Grid        Net Usage

$71.31                              $37.60                 $33.71

147.69 kWh                     829.94 kWh        60 Days left in cycle

My actual Data is:

Elect from Grid               Solar to Grid        Net Usage

$64.84                              $39.00                 $25.84

147.686 kWh                   829.939 kWh       62 Days left in cycle

My Supply Charge is for 28 Days is $28.68.

So current cost is $25.84 + $28.68 = $54.52.

Now remember this does not include GST.

If I just add the stated Net Usage ($33.71) and the Supply Charge ($28.68) I get  $62.39.

Using the above I get $62.39 / 28 to get cost of $2.22 a day.

Using the exact figures my usage is $2.28 per day including GST

My billing cycle is 90 days so just using Net Usage plus Supply charge the bill amount should be around $200.

Using my exact data from the CSV download file the amount is $205.33.

So in the end NET USAGE and SUPPLY CHARGE is pretty good.

I know we have discussed this before in our conversations . . .

The app and website I use does include GST in all figures.

Previously, maybe a good year ago, your info showed not inclusive, but mine has always been inclusive.
