It is current AGL policy not to refund a government rebate to the consumer. Can AGL advise if the two rebates (QLD and Federal)  announced for 2024/25 are to be retained by AGL or will the consumer (for whom the rebate was intended) be allowed to claim this amount if their account balance is regularly in credit due to efficient use of solar.

I have been AGL customer for a few years now. I have recently received the QLD energy rebates part of which went towards my bill and remaining shows credit into my account.
I have closed this account due to work circumstances chance and left that accommodation.
When I applied for a refund, AGL refuses to do so.

Account [removed personal details] I have not received the first quarterly instalment of the Federal Energy Bill Relief payment via my AGL account. I have been eligible before and nothing has changed. When can I expect the first credit to me AGL account?

Having checked my account i do not see the State or the Federal rebates on my account. Being in Qld i was expecting the $1300 to be added to my current credit.

Hi I find it a hugh rip off when electricity companies buy excess power off you from solar a @ 7cents and now down to 5 cents a KWH but sell it back to you @ 34cants not even close.
