Daily Useage

I had a smart meter installed on the day I left for an overseas trip and was away for 35 days - why did my daily useage fluctuate from day to day? Only the fridge was left in use. Surely the daily cost should have been the same every day? 🤔

Depending on you appliances and when they run while you aren't there could be the factoring reason as to why you see a change from day to day, as example if your hot water system is on electricity and is heating up every other day to keep warm.

With the AGL App you'll be able to view your usage in 30 minute intervals meaning you can view on the days at which time the usage is increasing to assist in identifying where it's coming from.

Fridge was the only appliance running. Set on low with minimal contents. All other appliances unplugged.

It does seem unusual that a fridge would cause flucuations if they are massive, if minor fluctuations, it can potentially be the amount of power required for the time.
