Hi @thekeg56 ,
Your local distributor reads your meter periodically and sends the reading through to AGL. You might like to provide your own meter reading via My Account or the AGL app.
Check out this help page for more information on submitting a meter read.
Quarterly billing @Bette ??
If so you have the daily supply charge, which is different in various states and regions, set by the DNSP (power supplier).
This could make up a fair amount of the $222.
Further, do you have an electric HWS, and was that left on ?
If so, this would be using CL (controlled load) power still, as well as anything else possibly left on, appliances like fridge, freezer, etc.
Check too if the bill is marked as estimated, rather than an actual meter read, if it is an older analogue meter that is read every billing period.
If so, estimated readings are often well over actual, and you can give AGL the actual readings and get the bill adjusted.
