Why have AGL removed monthly payment options?

I'm not getting options to pay my electricity bill monthly through instalments. This was an option that was available previously but not anymore. The only option I'm getting is to pay my current bill along with future bills, apparently AGL want to deduct $126 fortnightly for the next 12 months. I DO NOT want this. How do I just pay my electricity bill ($499.69) over a period of 3 months? Why is AGL asking me to pay $126 fortnightly for the next 12 months? It makes no sense; can someone please help? Thanks.

I've only ever paid my bills quarterly and in full, but I do know AGL offer bills quarterly or monthly, may you can just switch to monthly billing ?

Otherwise, if a payment plan was available from AGL and is now withdrawn, the only other option I have seen mentioned on their bills is to call and arrange a plan, which would be tiresome to have to do every quarter.

Maybe they have withdrawn how you did it due to monthly billing offered ?

That would be same as you paying it off each month, or is it that they want bill smoothing or something else applied ??
