Where has Seniors Saver plan gone ?

On the 27th I will have been 12 months on the Seniors Saver plan in Adelaide.  I had an email telling me that if I don't change to something else I will get moved to the Core Plan. No information given about what that is but I guess it is the Default Market Offer ?  In any case why can I not continue on the Seniors Saver plan ?  It doesn't appear in the list of plans available for me when I say I want to change my plan.  I have an SA Seniors card.

Michael, it's a pain that this happens each renewal, but for Seniors plan I am pretty sure you need to call AGL customer support and get it continued.

For some reason it's just not shown on the usual lists of plans.

It is still there, HOWEVER not all tele staff actually know what they are talking about. Just got off the phone and eventually spoke with a Manager, I was told back in March that my Senior Saver plan was ending in May 25 and the new Core plan was taking over, I rang then and was told the Saver plan (not Senior Saver) was the cheapest option, so it was moved over from Senior Saver, this month my bill from April - July has a note saying if I had been on the Senior Saver plan I could  save $115 annually!!!. After much heated conversation mostly on my part I am now back on the Senior Saver plan with a discount on my next bill - because I should not have been moved just continued/ renewed.

When I was on Senior Savers briefly a few years ago, it was a small CR, think it was $25 on changing to it, then rates were exactly the same as Value Saver (I think it was then).

It you switched from another provider to Senior Savers plan, it was more like $100 and something CR.

I don't recall it had any annual discount or one of rebate, thought it was just a once of.

It's possibly changed somewhat in what you get since then.
