Supply Charges what happened

My supply charge for my last bill was $0.7454 per day. Just Electricity No gas, No solar. But now when I compare plans to a new plan as per email from AGL. I have been with AGL for decades but this is just a rip off.

I've been with AGL for 40 years, my daily supply charge is $1.0831, including gst, which is pre gst $0.9846.

You are likely in a different state to me (SA), and all states have their own supply charges and plans / tariffs.

I am sure SA pays the highest supply charges and tariffs in the country, and the ACT pays the least, all the others are somewhere in between.

Supply charges are going to continue rising with the renewables / grid upgrades needed, we can expect them to get far higher, along with tariffs.
