Scam offer

Got a cold call from AGL - negotiated a deal with the agent - which was confirmed in writing - and agreed to switch my electricity. One day after the switch was made got another email saying there was a problem with my meter and the rates were going to change - this was a lie. It was because they had offered me a higher solar feed in tariff - the only rate that changed was a reduction in that. Rang to complain - got through to a "Resolution Manager" who basically said "bad luck". Went back to my old provider and looking for a new gas provider.

If you had the offer in writing then it is probably one for the Energy Ombudsman.
