I can't find a Tax Invoice number on my account. Where is it located?

According to your statement:

Tax Invoice Issued: DD Month YYYY

(In the box about How much energy are you using?)

Your bill is your statement.

Submit the bill to those that require it.

I can't locate the tax receipt either. The statements do not provide proof of payment. Surely AGL should issue people with an invoice, right?

Hi,

Your electronic or printed copy is your proof of payment.

In the section "How much energy are you using?" shows that it is a Tax Invoice.

Hi NeilC - thanks for your screen shot and circle of relevant information. However, this isn't the document which AGL has emailed to me for payment. Where did you find, or how did you receive, your tax invoice from AGL? Thanks lyrical

Log into the App or the AGL web page.

I don't use the App but it is similar.

On the Top Row you should see  Billing

Click on the billing

You should be able to see all your bills.

Your last bill should be listed  either as above or in your bill history.

Many thanks NeilC! It's the pdf of the invoice I'm after. Odd AGL doesn't just email it to customers. Would make life (and payment!) easier. Appreciate your help 🙂

@lyrical AGL don't email the PDF, it's been that way since we stopped paper bills.

They do (are supposed to) send an email advising your new bill is ready, and a link to click on to open in a PDF.

This can be saved, or printed, or both.

If you don't receive such emails, then get onto their customer service team on 131245, have you account number ready and give them your email.

I think it would be odd though if you don't get a paper bill, that all that is not already registered, they either send a bill, or email that advice when bill is ready.

Yes, the bill is the tax invoice, there is no separate individual invoice number for each bill, I just use the account number in my reference in accounting, and when it says it's been used before, I click use again.

Fine for tax invoice.

As others asked about getting a receipt for proof of payment, you have some form of payment made with your banking,

I have that in my accounting programme, but you can go to AGL's billing section, transactions, and see all the payments listed there.
