MY BILL HAS SKY ROCKETED. !!! 

I don’t get how my monthly is monthly bill has gone from $165 to $678 for the MONTH!!! 

i pay monthly and it seems to be way to high for my liking.

someone plz help

Check your bill if it is based on ESTIMATE or ACTUAL Reading of your meter(s) - whether it's for electricity or gas and hot water. If it is an estimate, read your meters, take pictures (in case they ask for the photos!) and submit your meters readings to AGL via your online account, or call them.

If you have a basic electricity or gas meter that's only read every two or three months, we estimate the monthly bill in between.  When we don't have actual data to calculate your bills, we estimate your energy usage based on historical usage and seasonal activity. If the estimations are not in line with the energy usage the actual meter read adjusts the usage.
