Plan expiring in 2 days

A question for an AGL rep . . .

 

My energy plan is expiring Sunday 22nd Dec, as per bill notation in blue below . . .

 

Your energy plan period ends on 22 Dec 2024(2)
(1) This information relates to your current plan as at the date your bill was issued
on 18 Oct 2024.
(2) We may contact you before the end of your energy plan period to notify you of
your new energy plan, which may include new rates, benefits or terms. If we
don't contact you, your current energy plan will continue to apply for a further
energy plan period.

 

Can I be assured that with no contact regarding this as noted (2), that my plan will stay as is for another year ?

Thank you for reaching out.

 

If we do not extend your plan you will notified via a recontacting letter sent to your billing method of choice that will advise your current plan is expiring and outline what plan you will roll onto if you don't get in contact with us.

 

If we do not contact you, your current plan will continue, however please note when the notice refers to your energy plan period, this only refers to the length of the plan, this does not mean your current rates are fixed.

 

During this time we would recommend you do visit our websites to compare our current offers so you can ensure you are on the best plan moving forward.

Sure Megan, thanks.

Sunday passed, and nothing about any changes, so assumed it was just rolling over on the same plan.

The account app etc shows the plan being the same.

Thanks again, I'm happy with the current plan.
