Is it AGL or my apartment?

I just moved into a new apartment and I set up my AGL plan for gas and electricity over the phone. Now my gas stove isn’t working. It ticks over, but I can’t smell any gas (I used a lighter too and it doesn’t ignite). How long does it usually take for the gas to connect? I don’t want to report it to my landlord if it’s AGL’s fault.

Thanks

Hi @Spiderman99

Depending on the time frames of when you organized the move in and this happening, it may be the distributor were going to disconnect the gas, and we weren't able to advise them in time.

If the stove top is the only appliance that uses gas in the property that is affected and other gas appliance are still able to be used without issue, it may be an issue with the apartment.

What I'll do is send you a Private Message to look into this further for you.

Thank you, Chris
