Huge electricity bills: $850+ monthly.

To the person who replied to one of my previous posts:

My name is not ‘W. Anker’.

I am a 71 year old disabled woman with severe pain and currently freezing because I can’t afford to use the electric heating at $850+ /month. It isn’t even a choice between eating and heating its way past that I’m afraid. I was desperate on the day that I wrote the messages on this board. I am still desperate. People- please don’t send me any more posts or messages.

I just want to say, I hope AGL takes urgent action for you, $850 or more a month is just crazy !!

No replies but I'll offer this last bit of advice . . .

 

Back in this thread (buried on last 2 or 3 pages, page 5 it was) . . .

Even after all the name calling, Neil did offer for you to send him your smart meter data for analysis . . .

 

"If you have a ANALOGUE meter you can track your SINGLE RATE TARIFF, smart meter  you can PM me and send the data and I will analyse your data for you." - NeilC

 

You might have to email him your last bill, or a high bill as well.

Heck, even all your high bills (when did that start ?).

I would do that if I were you, your data should show what's going on.

 

You'll get an unbiased, very accurate picture of any problem.

AGL must be making a very huge error in your billing from what you've posted.
